Zezt Pty Ltd (formerly MES(Tas) Pty Ltd) was founded in 1997 as a provider of ground support, ventilation, industrial hose and couplings to the Tasmanian Mining Industry, as it was identified that this market was not being serviced adequately. During 2002 Zezt commissioned machinery to manufacture ground support products in Tasmania.

In 2006, after extensive market research, Zezt expanded into the manufacture of polyethylene pipe (20mm to 450mm diameter), the first Tasmanian business to do so. 
This exciting expansion enabled Zezt Pty Ltd to supply products not only to the mining industry but also to the civil, aquaculture and agricultural industries.

After outgrowing our original premises Zezt Pty Ltd established a brand new well-equipped factory situated in Wynyard on the North West Coast of Tasmania. The close proximity to the international shipping port of Burnie allows Zezt to competitively supply products to mainland Australia and international markets.

In 2009 Zezt acquired a new 1200mm machine to compliment the existing manufacturing capability. Zezt can now provide polyethylene pipe in the range of 13mm to 1200mm daimeter.
